Tournament strategy advise

Middle of online tournament above average chip stack times 2. Should you put pressure on the blinds or play tight and let them fight it out ? Any other mid tournament strategy ?

I believe that being in the average of chips it is better to remain cautious keeping ranges closed, different would be with superior stacks where if we can press to rob blinds and where a failure would not compromise our stack. Anyway much has to see the type of mtt if it is slow or hyper, buy, etc. etc.
