Trash talking

I personally don't trash talk in chat or have chat on but I normally sit and watch for a few hands, see how people play, sometimes if I do have chat on I'll say something as simple as "lol" in the chat after watching someone attempt to bluff, it's the little things that get into people's heads, make them ruminate and blunder their money away. That's just me though and im pretty messed up.

You can take their poker name and report them and hope the site

Don't be so sensitive, the important thing is that you took his chips, if you got them playing well, you'll get much more in the long run, if you got them just by luck, and he knows how to exploit that, you'll soon return with interest.

Keeping an eye on the chat can be +EV imo. People who go off in chat tend to be weaker players. You should take a note.

I cant stand trash talk man. Those who have to talk trash have as much class as a dead fly on a steaming pile. Its just not a good look man. Show some respect at the table always. Thats just my belief

Because they are tilted or don't have some basic poker knowledge. Usually. So tag them as pros and move on.

I think it's the whole online thing. People feel anonymous so in their little minds anything goes when online.

I only talk trash if someone starts it with me. I normally don’t talk trash cause it’s not the way you play live. I only see it online

I think that some may be blowhards, or trolls like you see on social media, may be trying to shake you and make you not concentrate on the game, or who knows what else might possess someone to do it.

I ignore them, even the person who called me the "C" word was ignored. I have however reported other players twice for things they said either to or directed it towards someone else at the table. One time it was when there was a player from Israel at the table and a player said numerous times that Hitler had the right idea, and things along those lines. The other time was when a player used a racial slur.

Your use of nature reminded me of this story told by one of the characters in The Crying Game.

"A scorpion asks a frog to carry him over a river. The frog is afraid of being stung, but the scorpion argues that if it did so, both would sink and the scorpion would drown. No reason to trash talk , just move on to the next hand after a bad beat or whatsoever . Report him if he offends you very much , or else do not pay attention

As soon as I see the trash talking, I will either set note to fun player or moaner.

Fun player is the one I obviously use when I haven't seen the player before. The moaner more than likely is a bad reg, as they know the fundamentals just can't get over their ego's to accept they got beat by the fish. They have to cry and tell a person how bad they play, I mean why would you tell someone they play bad, it doesn't make any sense, you would use the information to beat them!!!!

unfortunately in the middle of the game to several players who offend others to try to take the concentration of players off the table so they can win hands leaving you tilted I don't care if any player has been talking nonsense to me, I leave it alone and I don't answer so as not to take the concentration

i am amazed of myself sometimes in the chat - im very very very rough - i combine players nation and history + his family tree and any other nasty things my imagination can create

only when im losing
but im losing almost all of the time
