True Poker, Doyles Room and Bookmaker.com Domain Names Seized -- Still Operational

In another round of DOJ indictments, they have seized and shut down Doyles Room's site DoylesRoom.com, True Poker's site TruePoker.com and Bookmaker.com, amongst a bunch of other sites and bank accounts.

Meanwhile, two new indictments were unsealed on Monday charging two businesses and three people with operating an illegal gambling business and money laundering, prosecutors said there.

As part of the case, 10 Internet sites were seized under a court order, including Bookmaker.com and Truepoker.com. Eleven bank accounts were also seized in the United States, Guam, Panama, Malta, Portugal and the Netherlands.

Those charged include ThrillX Systems Ltd, which was doing business as BetEd; K23 Financial Services, which was doing business as BMX Entertainment; Ann Marie Puig of Costa Rica, and Darren Wright and David Parchomchuk of Canada.

Interesting thing is, they set up an undercover online payment processing system and started the investigation 2 years ago (and included Homeland Security). Just think...two years ago we were in the very beginning of greatest economic downturn since the Great Depression, and this is what was important for our leaders in Government.

GAMEPLAN FOR US PLAYERS

I am in the UK but I am getting worried, as someone said hasnt the US

I just spent 2 hours downloading them sites since they installed new software. We U.S. players are so hosed. I am going to have to find my 'social network' poker name pretty soon, as that will be all we have left to play here very soon.

i agree with what WEC about what to keep on account totally. On these indictments my source says Bodog was mentioned in it but not formally charged. Interesting Calvin Arye gets by again.
Lastly my thought on today's indictments coupled with black friday is the DOJ is doing the Senate Majority Leaders work for him. its the "blackout period" that Harry Reid pushed for in his legislation near-attempt last year that will benefit Harrah's when online poker is finally regulated in usa.
I suspect more seizing and indictments to follow durin this year's WSOP to make some more headlines.
