She is good but definitely not great, she has made some mistakes as well. I've never forgotten her all-in pre flop call with 2,5 suited against aces. She said I had a read. I thought thinking when? A raise, re-raise and a re-re-raise and you were in that? But admittingly again she is a good player

No way you can fold there, quads is such an unlikely hand that paying off there is the profitable play in the long run.

I do not think she missed it. Let's face it, the chance of you being defeated by quads with only two cards on the table is very low. In the long run it is lucrative.

She played the flop too weak. If she had played the flop stronger, Baumann may have made it a lot more obvious what she was sitting on at the turn.

Watching this video and who shared TheNutz4You and reached the conclusion that Antonio Esfandiari brings very bad luck to Vanessa Selbts, in the three hands he was at the table and all lost vs AA

Unfortunately for Vanessa this is one of those hands that get you and there's not much she could've done differently. The fact that she almost found a fold is very impressive. Her analysis of the hand was spot on.

My opinion is Selbst couldn't get away from it. Only the one hand beat her and it's unlucky she ran into it.

Selbst played it as well as one could...she knew that Baumann could only have one of two hands....one she beat; one she lost...just bad luck that it was the quads.
