VIP programs are often marketed around cashback, bonuses, and exclusive rewards, but I’m more interested in the actual EV behind them. At what point does chasing VVIP status become -EV because the volume required starts affecting bankroll management, game selection, or decision quality?
For experienced players, do you calculate the value of VIP rewards as part of your overall hourly EV, or do you treat them as a secondary benefit and focus purely on maximizing your table win rate?

VVIP status can offer real advantages, but only for players who already play high volume. The extra rakeback, exclusive promotions, faster support, and VIP events can increase long-term value. However, chasing VVIP by playing more than your bankroll or skill level just to earn the status is usually a losing strategy. The smartest approach is to let VVIP status be a reward for profitable play—not the reason you play.
