WCOOP 23: $10,300 NL holdem- sickest field ever!

after finishing my grind for today i decided to have a look around Pokerstars and watch some pro's and other tourny's for a bit. i forgot that this 8 max high roller was going on, so i looked through the list to see who was all in it. entrants came to 276. here are some of the players in the toughest online field i've ever came across online.
Phil Ivey, Phil Galfond, Isildur, Gruissem, Sauce, Tollerene, Merson, Timex, Jungleman and Pokerstars Pro's like Ike Haxton, Mement Mori etc and a ton of other great pro's. shame a lot of the aforementioned players are out, funnily enough Isildur was 2nd to be ko'd, it was a 2x chance tourny and i doubt he'd struggle to buy in again, maybe he was tilted or ran through 2 bi's in rapid time haha. kind of sums up his style though he could either win it or get ko'd in no time haha. gutted Ivey is out too never seen him play live online before.
final table tomorrow will definitely be worth watching though. maybe it is just me excited by this but hey ho haha.

I totally forgot ivey had a SN for stars, but yeah was watching some of the play earlier.

yeah i have only seen him twice on Stars but missed him both times haha. just showed up as what place he finished in. would assume he'd be back playing in the $5,000 main event though.
Tollerene, Merson, Take Chip and Imalucksac notables still in with 32 left.

sorry man, don't know his screen name. the ones i mentioned were just the ones i recognised sure there are other players i missed out too

i'm hoping Merson wins personally

Its a great game and I am proud that a peruvian is in top 10 now... Hope he keeps in the top positions and have a good run in the FT.

yeah i googled it after you said he was still in

haha. ironically Jaka got knocked out by Merson. Jaka got very ul though dunnoo if you seen it button raise Merson 3 bet shoved like 18 bb's ish, Jaka 4 bet iso'd. Merson A 8s Jaka A J but Merson rivers an 8. then Jaka out with last 10 bb's v Ben86 with A 8o shove from mp v Tollerene's A Qs.
runthistable is also Andrew Lichtenberger. he's still in. 24 left.

yeah he has slightly below av stack. near $600k 1st prize would be nice haha.

Actually I think he was referring to WCOOP-24, the $700 buyin that currently has 4 players left & Mercier is sitting 3rd/4.
The other one was 8-max, $10k buyin.

no problem

i ended up missing the final table because i was playing in tournies and needed to concentrate :/ most of the players i was looking out for got ko'd earlier but will watch the highlights on youtube when they're up.

yeah i caught the end of the $700 one after the deal had been done. Mercier got unlucky with 8's v 3's to go tied for chip lead with 4 left. good thing a deal had been done already

i'm also at a Final Table btw, the big $16.50. one of the shorter stacks though.
