Website for local poker?

I live 45 minutes from the nearest casino, and don't always have the luxury to go out there whenever I get the urge to play live games. Is there a website anyone's aware of that lets me locate local poker games?

There are several companies that host bar tournaments all around the country.. it would be very hard for a site to keep track of all of them. What I would do, is go to Google, and type in "your city" poker tournaments. That's how I found poker at Side Pockets in Kansas City and in a few other places.

There are several sites that advertise Home Games that I am aware of. But, these days I would recommend the 45 minute drive rather than going to a game that is publicized over the internet. There have been a large amount of poker home game robberies this past year. It really has turned into an epidemic.

I wouldn't trust a home game with people that you don't know. Poker with friends at home, a bar, casino, or online only for me.

Check out meetup.com search for poker in your city.

I wish a casino was only 45 min away from me, its more like 3 hours for me.
