What is Better? Online or Live?

For now I prefer more online because I think I show some emotions that I should't in live poker. But I'll attend more live games and practice to be better.

I just played poker online ... I have not had the opportunity to play poker live. If I had to choose I would prefer to play poker live ... that's where the adrenaline and all the emotions that surround this game as exciting as poker is. I hope to someday play a live tournament ... it would be a dream come true.

From my point of view, when playing live, I feel more emotions, online is great to play, but when playing many tables at the end of a session can become annoying when taking a high number of bad in a single day. But it is part of the game, to follow with discipline these bad will become good fruit in the future, Good luck friend!

I would say live because all the extra info you get on players, but I must say online is really growing on me. There's something nice about being really comfy and warm. Poker rooms are so cold!

I never played live and i think it is more comfortable ( you see all hints from players like face, hands etc.) as for online it is nice to play.

I have only played a little live poker but was quite successful. I just prefer to play from my own comfortable house.

This is my only real problem with live poker, is the rate of play. Some card rooms have a real problem keeping the pace of play up.

It depends on what you mean by “what is better”.

For me it’s a five hour drive to get to the nearest casino or three hours to fly (home to airport to casino). That travel time is a deterrent these days, so I prefer the convenience of online poker. There are a lot of different games online as well. Try finding a Razz or Stud Hi Lo game at a casino.

Which is easier to win at. I think both are about the same, although if I had to pick one, it would be live games for me.

Usually I play online poker, because it is easier for me to get into the tourny. Don`t have to walk to casino and in my country it is not that easy to find some good tournament

But I do recommend live poker - in my opinion it`s the real poker

Live tournament is much more pleasurable to play.
However, I think the online tournament is more profitable for the volume I was able to print.

I prefer live poker. It is more social, and because I only get to play when on vacation, it makes it special. Live players tend not to make absolutely ridiculous plays due to the embarrassment factor...after that play, they still may have to sit there at the table while everyone else is shaking their heads and muttering under their breath, "What an idiot!"
