I liked it far more in the past , like it used to be .At PokerStars the gam s were better , also many good freerolls , and rakeback system and the promotions were better . Better prizepools and competition.

Well, I know for a fact that the number of players who play this or that type of poker has increased 10 times or even more, and that's very cool.

I've been on the forum for five years but I've been playing for over ten years.
I saw the arrival of several softwares that help preflop, postflop and try to teach the best way to play gto.
The increase in bounty games and turbo tournaments was also a change I noticed.
I see the guaranteed decreasing as well.
In Brazil there was a growth in the number of poker teams.

Much more aggressive betting. Lots of tourneys are almost all in or fold games.

Geez, what has NOT changed. 10 years ago was almost 2 years post-Black Friday when the poker world imploded. But, since then it has risen back up and brought along new ways of thinking about poker. There have always been some mixed strategies out there but now it seems like poker is divided between the GTO and exploitative camps. Neither of which were really a thing 10 years ago. Today we have HUDs, trainers, solvers and other computer aids to replace the self-typed notes that people took on other players. 10 years ago I am pretty sure that the wsop Main Event was the biggest buyin of the year and now, while it still is the most prestigious event, there are dozens of high roller events.

What has changed for me personally? Not much. I spend a lot more time studying and discussing strategy than I did 10 years ago. It has been longer than that since I played poker as my main source of income (that was when Full Tilt and the others were in their heyday). I don't play as much as I would like to but that comes from other responsibilities and commitments, but I do still play to have fun.

There are much more player and more freerolls, but it's more difficult to come in money. Some States let no more deposit with visa cards. Bonuses are symbolic and very hard to win. But in many cases it's still fun to play and learn.

I think ten years ago there were more active players, but this may be my subjective feeling as there are still a lot of people playing tournaments.

I haven't played poker for a long time, so I can't say what changes I've noticed here, unfortunately
