As the title is saying , when its better to bet ?
Depending on the cards and what you want to represent, depending on your opponent style and etc.
But this question still remains,

Questions that I would wish you guys to answer:

Q1:
You are the BB and all the table folds except the SB who raises you 3 BB.
Your hand is: J 10 suited
What do you do?
a. Call
b. Fold
c. Re-raise (with how much? and why?)

Q2:
You are short stacked (less than 5BB's) and most of the table tries to get rid of you re-raising your bets.
You are in late position holding : 10 10
Two players call the BB but another player (chip leader of the table) re-raises 5BB's.

What do you do?
a. Call/All-in (why?)
b. Fold (why?)

This are 2 questions XD hope their not too easy and of course nobody can give a wrong answer just the chances may tell you to do something in that moment.

1. Depends on mainly stack size and the looseness of the other player. I would say it is in a deeper stacked situation a choice between calling and re-raising.

2. If that person is one that raises a bit wide then this should be a call.

I can't answer the first, I don't know stacks, opponent, how close we are to the bubble....

The second is a pretty clear all in unless you're right at the bubble trying to make the money. You need a double up here.

1 fold j 10 is poor holdings what are you going to hit on the flop that your going to want to bet apart from a straight

2 push all in you have to play to win you have a top 20 hand and dont really have the time to wait get it in and cross your extremities

I would call on both counts. I guess the second call is actually an all in.

I feel like the second situation is much easier as it's not going to get much better than that for you (especially since you're about to get blinded out and you are getting bullied by the table)

As for the first... I feel like there are a lot more variables not defined on that one, but I'd call to see the flop.

Really stupid comment.

You think that JTs on pos. against a SB raise is a fold? Dependant on stacks sizes etc, you could 3bet here, but i prefer a call.

Easy call Allin with TT with 5BB.

1. I would call there because it seems like the player is trying to steal, although I really can't answer that without being at the table and knowing how the sb been playing to that point, tight or lose or always raising with only the sb/bb in pot.

2. I would call here also because with less then 5 bb and people raising all the time I think that would not be a bad hand to try to double up or more. This one I would not have to be at the table to see how people are playing its a straight forward question.
