What do you do when you are unmotivated to play

I either watch tv or play video games but I also don’t play poker everyday so it’s more of a pleasure to play I guess, I really enjoy the game but I play as and when I want not as a chore or a job

This is the big problem here, that you have time to play poker when your mind is tired or restless. you don't think like that and make bad decisions. My advice is to sleep 7-8 hours and play poker the next day. the point is if you feel like you don't feel like it. then don't start, coffee and energy drinks won't help either.

I try to play as a hobby, to avoid discouragement and when I play thinking like that, that's when I go the furthest and even win some tournaments.

I will not play at all . But if I am in the middle of a session , if it's freeroll or low buy on , I might abandon it or start playing very loose , shoving very light so as to have a chance to be ITM if I finally go to sleep or abandon the game . This happens rarely thankfully . But if the game is important and I am tired , I will try drinking some coffee , or listen to music , do sth else at the same time to stay focused and motivated .
