[QUOTE="acemenow, post: 3513525, member: 215788"] Not sure I understand the question? If I do and you are just talking about someone using cuss words - well its a public forum and if we are at a table (I assume that is what you mean), various words should be accepted if you do not like it turn off chat or ignore it IMO - (note - I do not believe in censorship). What is offensive to one person is common language to another and if you are on a poker site you have to accept the fact that their will be words used that you may not like - However, if someone is being racially or simply demeaning and derogatory to a specific person that is wrong and we should be intolerant of that. To me the best course of action is not to speak to the person and hope the entire table with out speaking about it colludes to remove the other persons chipstack (that happened once and it was pretty satisfying) I have been in games where someone was being racially abusive and the person they were doing it to did such a good job of quelling it, the situation was de-escalated pretty quickly. So was not a big problem. The instigator was clearly a "jerk" but not quite the ingrate you would have expected once the "victim" (though this was no victim given his handling of the situation) artfully put him in his place. I have a friend does not play poker but in FB will make comments to see if he can get a rise of out people. Whether he believes what he is saying or not. if you are not aware of this ploy in poker you are going to be on the defensive quite a bit so if it bothers you its pretty easy to simply turn off chat.
