My family considers poker useless. They aren't able to play poker and consider that it is a waste of time and money. I tried to explain to them that poker very fascinating occupation and at good skills very profitable.

Immediate family likes the game but does not play it much. Extended family does not see any reason to play a card game for money.

Early in his career poker my family tried to dissuade me from playing poker. Everyone was afraid that I would lose money and got into debt. They did not believe that I am adequately to gambling and will not allow the loss of dengue. I play for 5 years and are all used. Now all of my poker game calmly. Even ask that I could win

They thought it was mostly luck until I booked 11k profit this year. My dad decided to sit and watch some and I talked out decisions and I think he sort of had an epiphany that there's a lot more than purposeless gambling here

both my parents think it is pure gambling but they're not aware of the maths behind it. of course i also think it's a bit of gambling but i'd say %20-25. it's mostly a matter of skill that can be mastered

It's not a matter of liking the game or not. It's the lack of understanding the different aspects of the game. Or more so the lack of interest in it.
