As a teenager we played at one of my friend's houses. His father took trips to Vegas a few times each year (probably more than a 'few' but this is what he told them) and they had a room in their home that was turned into a bit of a casino. They had a craps table, black jack and Poker. And one bay in their garage was turned into a pawn shop. (you could get some chips for your bike, skateboard or any sporting equipment you might want to part with). Their older brothers would play and their father was there playing most of the time too. I don't know why we assumed we stood a good chance there because I don't recall EVER walking out a winner at those games. I guess I figured it was mostly luck back then. I quit playing in my early twenties, vowing to never play the game again but the tv commercials hitting us all 24/7 sparked my interest again. (AbsolutePoker, UltimateBet, Fulltilt Poker, and Pokerstars to start with). I made a couple deposits, found a poker forum to join that held a ton of league games (Railbirds), and then also found Cardschat shortly after. [/QUOTE]
