Dota Autochess and it's spinoffs are very much like poker. It's a game of mitigating risk with semi-complete information just like poker.

In a way, I get that. The difference is that 99.9% of the time, the more skilled chess player wins. In poker, the luck factor can give unskilled poker players wins in the short term...longer term, the players with the higher skill level win out, which is why the same group of players seem to be on TV at the final table of tournaments.
