When i got into poker in 2016, doug was my go to entertainment and news , he would post everyday and collab. He disappeared from the scene for some reason...

He's obviously had a huge impact on poker, and I respect what he's accomplished at the tables. That said, I always found him more annoying than entertaining. His content often felt like it was built around stirring up drama and calling people out. Being Canadian, I wanted to like him more, but I just never really got into his style.

As others have said, he is still creating content on Youtube, maybe just not as much as in the past. If I had to guess, being a co-owner of The Lodge likely takes up a decent chunk of his time, especially after they got raided and shut down by authorities back in the spring. Luckily this seem to have been resolved now though.

I remember that too. Doug's videos were one of the reasons I got more interested in poker strategy. He had a good mix of entertainment, analysis, and poker news. It definitely felt like there was a gap when he stopped posting regularly, but it's always nice to see him pop up again from time to time.
