Hello, when I started playing I played many tournaments, then zoom but stop playing because they put the before and change the strategy where it cost me to change it but I hope that poker stars will have a classic zoom or at least have both options. I liked this format because there is a lot of action when playing.

In the old days. We played everything but holdem. Heck...some don't exist any more.
One of my favorite tourny's, you still see once in a while, is horse. 5 types of poker in one tourny! A tourny for true poker players.

I enjoy playing HORSE. I know that ACR doesn't spread Razz, so that would be an issue. However, ACR "COULD" theoretically spread SHOE (Stud Hi, Hold'em, Omaha, and Omaha8 - ALL Limit of course). I know Full Tilt did that back in the day, but it's not offered in Cash Game Format any longer, though Stars does offer the 8 Game Mix for the real hardcore Limit players.

I prefer SitnGo's.. I feel like this way I can master the art of playing pre flop and play shortstack.. and for me is the most important thing when it comes to tournament... Cash game you gotta have a really good understanding of pos flop, and of course this knowledge is welcome as well, but to someone who is just in the begging of the career I feel like learning how to play shortstack will make more difference in the short term.. I've been playing for 2 months since I decided to really study the game and just with this knowledge (playing shortstack) I've seen a real improvement in my game

I enjoy Sit & Go's as well - it helps me with my short-stack play, and knowing what spots to take with what ranges of hands, as I would say that all of us are playing with a short-stack the vast majority of tournaments.

I also like playing Zoom PLO (10 mostly). I'm working on improving my game and I feel like I've made some progress there as well. Of course, I also like MTT's, usually Hold'em, but will also play some PLO, PLO8, and PL Courchevel H/L (spread on PokerStars).

My best game

I perform best in MTT with regular starting stack, rebuys, add ons, and levels 8-12 minutes.

The truth is that I prefer the hand-to-hand mode, it could be in the 888 snap because there you only expect good hands to be able to beat your rivals

I play only tournaments now. Firstly want to build bankroll and then start to play cash. But actually most guys here say that cash is more profitable.

I play slow and always think all my moves. But some players are so strange. If they have flush draw, they keep beting big. I dont get this, why you have to bet big, if there is so small chance to get flush....

I love no limit hold em

I love no limit hold em, I play seven card stud, five card stud and draw. I do not play any games with wild cards. The only site I play on is Card chat and Poker Stars. The rest is just to much for me to handle. Card chat is user friendly and the players are respectful. I do not try and win anything extra. I only play Friday nights, Saturday nights their are to many people. Enough said and look forward to my next game. Capo1014

I like to play tournaments without rebuy!
Rebuy tournaments favor those who have more money and can take more risks.
The best structure is that of the frezeout tournaments, there is no rebuy and we have enough chips.

Not so long I played a bunch of "don" tournaments where I had a lot of succes, it means "double or nothing" and basically 3 of the 6 players you play with win the buyin money (with a little rake deducted). Both aggressive as tight play works in these kind of sng.

Hi there, as for me I prefer Texas Hold'em, but draw is so good too, Omaha is a superb kinda poker, 'cuz there're big combinations n they come immediately, rather soon than in Texas Hold'em, n I suppose there's not bluff in Omaha, 'cuz everyone can have smth, my point

Don`t like cash games at all. If I have a lot of free time - it`s tournaments, if no - SNG or hyper turbo tournaments.

I am crazy about competition, and I think I find that more in tournaments, trying to be the best of all in the tournament and taking the biggest prize is pure competition :D:D

I prefer tournament poker since they are the ones that have the most opportunity to carry out strategies and go passive tag

I am much more successful in cash games, more so in face to face cash games. I suck at online tournaments. I highest I have been is 5th.

I prefer tournaments. If i go to a cash game with a $1 i will leave after 10 minutes with nothing left.

I have lately trying to play Omaha, in cash games, and it is coming along very well

I prefer cash games. Mostly because I can choose when to stop playing. Oftentimes, in a longer tournament, I'll find myself kind of done playing, regardless of whether I'm doing well or not, and I feel like I'm sort of trapped in the game.
