No your role basically don't try to play a higher stakes game if it's going to make you play scared.  This may seem obvious but I can't count how many times I've seen people come to a table and not have enough money to play comfortable because everyone else has more money in front of them and bullets at the window if needed.  Nothing wrong with playing the one two or five 10 tables if you only got a couple thousand with you.  Too many times people will buy in with the minimum amount and try and play bingo and double up early so they can actually compete with the others and 9 out of 10 times they just blow their entire buy in.  Then you have the mathematical players and the gut feeling players which I feel both methods are fine if it's what the player is most comfortable with.  I hate when people think they're better players just because they can run off all the statistics in math of every situation instantly but just knowing you have better odds of hitting something doesn't mean you're going to hit it so technically you would think playing the mess gives you a better chances but it also keeps you from making of hero call here or there to win a massive pot that someone goes with because they felt it in their gut
