what are min and max buyins to each level

ok so i know .01/.02 Has .20 for the min, 2.00 for the max,, But UB has the max at 4.00
.02/.04 has .30 for the min, and should be 4.00 for the max??? right

.05/.10 has i think .80 for the min, the max should be 10.00????? right

Each poker room has its own minimums/maximums. There is no general rule, really. On FTP the .05/.10 is $2/$10. Live casinos are the same way - my casino has a max of $100 on the 1/2 tables, others have it at $200 or higher.

The limits have more to do with what they think will keep their customers coming back and give them the most rake. Some might set the limits lower to keep newbies comfortable and allow them to rebuy cheaply, others might set the limits higher to cater to more aggressive players. If the limit is too low it limits how much someone can raise without becoming pot committed.

Most online sites do 100 big blinds is the max, while UB/AP has 200 big blinds. Also on pokerstars they have varying buyins at the same blind level (i.e. a 50bb min table opposed to a regular table), usually you don't see the 50bb min until you atleast reach a decent limit.

Casinos usually go 20bb min and 50bb max, but as you get higher in limits the max buy-in grows. For example where I deal the 1/2 game is $100 max and the 2/5 is $500 max, granted we also do offer 1/2 $200 as a seperate table with $100 min.

I play alot at the Red Rock Casino in Vegas and the 1/2 tables. The tables I play at are $100 min and $300 max. I usually buy in for $120 and regularly leave with $400 plus after a 3-6 hour session.

On full tilt poker the min buy in for .01/.02NL is .40 and the max is 2. For .02/.05 it is min of $1 and max of $5. I'm not too sure about the rest of them but i know that the max buy in is 100 big bets and the min buy in is 20 big bets.
