Lots of patience don't gamble it's not a flip coin game. Know when to fold even aces. Stay focus on all players actions.

starting hand of course plays a very important role in poker. but do not forget that you need to look around. what are the odds what position. even if you think that you have a very strong hand and you can take the pot. should think twice if the opponent raises.the position is also very important.position gives the advantage to gather information

I would say keeping concentration/avoiding tilt is a big part of it. As if you fail to do that then what ever else you do what matter in the long run as you will lose.

If a poker player manages to execute those 4 points in a good way is very sure that he will succeed in poker and obviously will make a lot of money .... however it is not an easy task to do ..... it takes a lot of concentration and a lot of control over the emotions ....!

well sadly in poker those four things change very often. as a basic guide those four are great yes.but strictly following ANY guidlines leaves you open to be exploited. ie example i will raise your bb in position knowing #1 you only call with good cards #2 you only call in position(which your out of pos)#3 getting a read on me is going to be impossible i will do this everytime with any cards and can hit any flop in position.it will be a guessing game for you#4 actually has no part in poker strategy just money management. poker is very complex i hope this showed a diff way to play the game
seeya at the tables

Here is my advice.
1. All previous strategiies calling in position reading players with good hands.
2. THe main thing you have to change your strategy during tournaments phase.
a. Early stage you have to very tight
b. Mid phase also should play tight but no very tight.
c. Final phase you have to open more open wide and try to play with some kind of intuition and getting to steal blinds cause you have to also know your opponents fortune, when who gets what , if in table long time was not shown best pockets AA, KK, QQ, be care of it soon it will comes after you so play safely in every stage of the Tourney and also luck is cruical and you have to be calm in every stage. The best strategy is to analyze your opponents and know the aproximate time of your fortune and opponets fortune also count than you can reach the best place! IN my oppiion, also need to count approximation of fortune !

Post flop. Easy to learn the best 10 staring hands, much harder to learn how to play when you don't hit the flop.

Heads up and shove/fold would be next for me.

Bankrole is most important

In Super system Doyle writes the secret to ni limit poker is money. He said you may beat me 1 or 2 or 3 times in a hand but I have buckets and buckets of money and eventually I will break you.

I think this is true. I was playing no limit game 20 years ago in shreveport I was young and bought in for 300 hundred. I look down and have AA I raised preflop to 60 and get one caller. the flop comes A 9 3. I was told at the time to always check a set on the flop and let the others catch up so I did and the turn was a 8 rainbow A938. I pushed all in for the rest of my 300 and get a snap call
he has 10 Q off. The river of course is a J. I asked him why he would call all in on a inside straight draw. He said Im used to playing 500 a hand at blackjack so it was a small bet for him. I was broke and out and he went on busting others with his huge bankroll.

I love that you mentioned bankroll management. I really think that's the most important part of poker. So many stories of people playing live games they couldn't afford to play, getting sucked out on, and not being able to rebuy. If you have good bankroll management, everything becomes so much easier. You can bluff without worrying for your livelihood, you can face bad beats without going on tilt, et cetera. You truly cannot even be a poker player without good bankroll management.

1. Playing good staring hands.
This is the 2nd most important decision you make, the 1st being to sit at a particular table (but that wasn't on the list .. so i assume you mean after you sit down).

What makes your starting hands 'good' takes into account everything else position, bank role (your stack and your bank role), reads and your ability to read, ... everything else really.

The most important thing in Live-Poker this is psychology. From suggested by you items the 3rd one (getting reads on players) is fit to this criteria. Everyone can do mistake even with best hand (size of bet wrong and didnt get much chips, sometimes slow play with losing end etc) but when you will get a feel to interpret your opponent right you will as hawk in front of them.
For On-line Poker the important thing is time. You need to see and observe the players on the table, mark them for your list (sometimes i am going till the showdown in order to see / check what is opp's hand that to understand how he is strong with his stategy on the game) so for this case the 4th item (bank role) will match it.
