Can anybody tell me what the odds of catching quads on the flop is? Not with 3 of the same card coming out, but with a pocket pair and then the other two coming out? Thank you. Just curious.

407.2 to 1 pairs played i think .
If u play pairs 407 times u have a chance of flopping quads.

I thougt that was what I said.

Probability of Getting Quads on Flop with Pocket Pair:

You need both to appear on the flop, but they can come in any order (hence the "x 3" below).

2/50 x 1/49 x 3 = .04 x 0.02040816 x 3 = 0.00244898, or 0.245%

not even worth commenting on - but I do a lot of things I should not comment on.
On PS I have caught quads with a PP at least 7 times... however I have held a PP at 4000+ times... saying flopping quads with a PP is a coinflip is the most unhelpful thing you can say ITT.

Sorry if this is harshly said.... but really!

Thanks guys. I was just wondering because I caught it twice in one hour last night. And when I tried looking it up I really didn't know exactly what to look for. I have only ever gotten quads once before and that was on the flop also but never twice in an hour. :)
