Apart from Rounders, what are some other poker movies people would recommend watching? I just can't seem to get enough of poker.

Shade, Bet Raise Fold, The Hi roller (Stu Ungar) I really wouldn't call Hi Roller a documentary.

Cincinnatti Kid - Classic Steve McQueen film.
Lucky You - A bit hokey but not the worst film ever made.
California Split - gambling movie, has a cameo from Amarillo Slim.

Going to check out bet raise fold. The Stu Ungar movie was depressing to me.

I watched "Lucky You" these day.Some of my friend said they come to play poker because of this film.Although,as a players playing poker more than two years,I feel it is not so good to tell you how a excellent poker player be.Lol,just for fun.

21 is the best movie ever , it maybe about blackjack but still a Casino game :)
Human Emotions are truely shown , Apt & Precise to the script . Would recommend that if u havent seen it :)

i also really like" lucky you" for a poker movie. I agree that people either love it or hate it. but I cling to the few poker movies that are out there. mostly I like the movie because of Robert duvalls performance. he plays a doyle Brunson type character and I think he nails it .

One of the films that I liked most about poker was maverick, by Mel Gibson's acting and the way they played at that time, and another favorite is the 007 poker Casino Royal, excellent handling of the game and plays incredible. ..
