It happens to me that after two hours of playing in the tournament I start to fall asleep!
And I just can not finish playing until the end ...)
Tell me who is saved in such situations?
I think that I'm not the only one)

Find another thing that will keep you going. Like music, or food, drink, a friend. Dont do something that will distract you from the poker itself.

In such a case, you need to play in tournaments lasting less than 2 hours.

I do not have that.
On the contrary, if I play in a serious tournament, then I can not sleep for a long time.

Just Fallow a simple and logical rule: Dont play after 11 pm, your home hour.

I have seen players from Europe playing very very late hours for them, so If is pass Midnigth you are going to be Tired and exhausted.

Myself only play until 10:30 pm :top:

I make sure to be well rested before playing. If I start falling asleep I typically get a energy drink, coffee, anything with caffeine. Same as you would in any other situation. like work. lol

You are either very tired already when you start playing or you don't really enjoy playing poker. If you grind tournaments hoping to make money and it seems like a job to you, of course it's boring and you start falling asleep.

When I play poker, I've never been in a dream before. But when I watch movies, I start to fall asleep sometimes.

Increase the number of tables gradually, getting used to the new pace of the game. Action at the tables will not let you relax, which will not lead to loss of interest and falling asleep. Also, although this will reduce the characteristics of your game, you can watch the video in parallel. Still as an option, physical exercises in the breaks of the game!

Play earlier in your day, play cash game so you can quit anytime, play sit and goes so they take an hour or so, play hyper turbo tourneys. If it's just freeroll and they are only available when your tires maybe have a coffee if you wanna play it out to the end

In such cases, when I start a tournament and play it for 2 -3 -4 hours, I am saved by coffee so that I do not want to sleep but also other drinks with something tasty, well, or if you have free time before the tournament, then you can sleep 1 or 2 hours so you do not feel like sleeping during the game!

Before you ever sit playing poker, make sure you clear your mind set, feel prepared and make sure you're not sleepy. Make sure you can play a long session around 6-8hours (if you hit multiple FT's). If you fall asleep make yourself cup of coffee or get some energy drink. If u feel you're sleepy or something, just don't sit to play poker. Watch some movie and go to bed, there is always tomorrow.
Good luck, wish you all the best.!

I think it depends on your experience. The more long tournaments you play, the more you will adapt to them, in time you will get used to it.) In order to concentrate you can drink strong tea or coffee, just in breaks you can do physical exercises-this helps a lot!

Try to sleep or, at least, just lie down and rest before the game, this should help not fall asleep during the game !!!!

Play turbo tournaments, or cash game. And more better, if you have a time, sleep little bit, before playing.

Perhaps tournaments aren't the correct type of game for you. Have you considered playing cash games instead? If you become tired during a cash game, you would have the option to immediately quit so that you could sleep freely.

If you continue to play tournaments perhaps you could purchase a stand up desk so that you could stand up instead of sitting down. This would provide you with a method to stay awake - unless you become like a horse and can achieve sleeping while standing up!

Good luck!

The moment you feel tired, stand up. You aren't going to fall asleep standing up.
