What "trash" hand do you seem to win a lot of pots with?

We've all seen the advice to just throw away your rag hands such as :7s4::2h4: or :10c4::3d4: and save your chips for a better hand. However, the worst bad beats in tournaments seem to come from players who entered pots with similar "worthless" hands, and wound up cracking your AA and taking all of your chips.

Is there a lucky trash hand that you like to play because it seems to win way more often than it should?

I almost never play those kinds of trash hands, maybe only from the small blind if they’re suited like 7s4s. If the situation at the table is really bad for me, then I might consider it, but otherwise I just fold them. Even if I have to leave the table soon, I would never shove all-in with that kind of hand. Sometimes I do enjoy playing suited connectors like 8h7h or 9c8c, since they can surprise people if the board runs well.

:qh4::2s4:

I named it: "The lonely woman nut-cracker".

Not something I play outside the Blinds or from the Button against tight opponents normally.

But after winning some big pots with it, I played it just for fun and continued to win much more often than I should.

Nothing that I recommend or will probably not continue my experiment (unless very short stacked).

Yeah, I like playing 6-3 and 6-4 — you can often hit a straight with the 6. And when a player comes in with an Ace, they sometimes think they’ve got the straight too. 😅 In those spots, I always shove all-in.

None, I struggle to win wit AA,AK, etc. the game is so random, am also seeing a lot of runner runner .01 outs occurring for villian, so no rhyme or reason to it. I can’t discernibly find any patterns at all.

" A lot of pots with " ??? . I don't think there is such a hand in my poker history I usually play predictably , the hands that are suggested oop or up in relation to your stack and pot size . I might try to play a trash hand in SB or in position for very cheap with many players in the hand . If I get lucky that rarely happens , and for sure not repetitively . So no such hand for me ))

K 7 off - its had a weird way of always seemingly hit for me and yes its offsuit only that it seems to apply to, it got so that at my local pub on a Friday night where we had a weekly tourney if a K or 7 hit the deck and I called, bet out or raised - mates would sometimes call it just to see and its the one hand I regularly seem to hit 2 pair with if not better. Mad trash hand

I don't really pay much attention to combinations, to be honest. Combinations and cards are just an additional tool to get my opponents' chips at the table. To be honest, I play with almost all cards, if the table allows me to. My favorite hand among the most unplayable ones? Probably "32" of the same suit.

For me personally it's 95 suited. A hand that is supposed to be trash but I connect with it often enough. I really like to play this type of hand in position against passive opponents.

There is no usual trash hand that I win with but I've won with trash too. So I say 96o.

As the saying goes 'One man's trash is another man's treasure'.

I, on occasion play 3,5 off suit…I do it because my son won a 360 player tournament on Full Tilt when he was 12…his friends were waiting for him to come to a birthday party, but all of them watched him playing poker online…he probably had 3,5 os three or four times during the tournament, and played them aggressively , eventually winning a ticket to a $1000 tournament.

If there would be a lucky trash hand that I would like to play would be 3&5 (suited or not). The numbers have a meaning for me. If I win more or less than I should, I am not sure.

I try not to play trash hands, but :3d4::2d4: seems to do a lot of damage.
I was in a decent ($120) live tournament once at the Borgata. It was a lot of action before me, so I decided to see a flop which came 333.
2 all ins, I called ofc, AA and KK. That was the key hand that helped me ended up 3rd with a nice paycheck. Since then, but only if I have enough odds, I always call with it. Never seen 333 again but hit something about 33% of the time.

I've won several hands with J8 off. That's bad for me, because I always want to play with that hand. 😂😂🤑

Honestly, I have three hands that I like way too much: 99 because I always call it my “red army” and it makes me feel like I’m in control, even when an Ace hits the flop and I’m just pretending to be confident. Then there’s 98, the hand that makes me dream about straights and flushes at the same time… but usually ends up costing me chips. And finally, 87 – that’s my adventurous hand, I play it when I’m in the mood for a little gamble. Funny thing is, those so-called trash hands have won me more pots than AA sometimes! Poker is crazy like that. 😅

Actually I don't go in with a bad hand, but it has happened to “miss click” and end up entering with T3 and hitting 2 pairs of flops!
