What type of game do you prefer, Limit or NL?

Hold´ em I prefer NL.
Omaha, Stud, Badugi I prefer with Limit.

I prefer NL Holdem and second would be PLO. I dont care for Badugi. I dont play Stud often enough to feel comfortable.

Limit is boring. I prefer the "Cadillac of poker" (NL Holdem).

I prefer only NL Hold'em. I usually play in MTT tournaments. According to my statistics, these tournaments are the most profitable for me.

Good morning.Both in cash games or tournaments I just prefer NL Holdem.I only played Limit Holdem when I started playing this game.

I prefer no limit.

I played at the Casino near me and at the time it only had limit games. I flopped a full house and ended up loosing to a runner runner straight flush because I couldn't bet enough to get the guy who kept flat calling (every hand) to fold with his 6-8. He actually got lucky LOTS that day.

I do kind of like the Cap ring games on Poker Stars sometimes though. It's nice not to lose all you money on one unlucky hand to the guy who decided to play bingo when you have AA of KK.

I haven't tried my hand at limit holdem yet but would like to try it at some point

I am strictly a NLHE player at the moment but am looking into pot limit omaha in the future it looks like fun but my study time is taken up solely on improving my NLHE game right now

I prefer non limit hold'em, it is a good way to put pressure on your opponent when you have a sure hand, but it can also be a double edged sword. Regards.

poker preferences

when it come to the different types of games available at any given poker site, i prefer NL(no limit holdem). reasons for this is the trill factor and the ability to control game play

It is true. When there are limits, the chances of changing the game are greater. Many players with marginal hands or weak hands do not give up because it is cheap to see the river.

Doesn't matter to me one way or the other.

If we are going to be really granular my favorite game is NL MTT Freeze-out. or I enjoy just as much Pot Limit Omaha High/Low (aka PLO8).

As for standard holdem playing limit is rare for me since I play MTT's so i would likely need to brush up on the strategy for the game.but I'll play regardless of limit / no limit.

When I started playing poker, I tried all kinds of games. When I say everything, I really mean it.

I played Badugi, Omaha, Razz, Holdem ... And tried both variants, Limit and Nolimit. But then I realized that Holdem NL suits me best. Now I only play NL because I think it is much more energetic and uncertain, and therefore more interesting.

Of course I like the NL Texas Hold'em most of all, but sometimes, if I have free time, I also play Omaha, Horse or Badugi.

Limit allows players to see all 3 cards cheap. Can't force them out of chasing a hand. I got tired of losing with good hands to straights and flushes. NL for me.

I agree with you. Of all the poker variants, I hate Hold´ em Limit the most. When the Hold´ em Limit game starts in the mixed games tournament, I would like to activate the sitting out option, until the next game starts.

I've never played Hold'em Limit because there are not a lot of people playing this type. I also try to play Omaha but I prefer tournament to cash game so I mostly play Hold'em NL because it is easy to find a tournament anytime.
