She will learn a lesson that we aren't besties on the table. It is a competition for chip accumulation. You can still give a royal behind kicking and walk away with a phone number or two. Just be tasteful. Complement them when they have losers and try to help them with their game. Being a sportsman doesn't have to affect your cash-in. Yeah, I believe the game context is relevant here too. Generally speaking though, poker players (men or women) are there to win and if someone is randomly flirting DURING the game, then there is probably an ulterior motive. If they flirt around the game, or while you are playing but they are only watching etc. then this is a different story as the context is different.
If one poker player actually likes another enough to flirt a bit, then they would probably try to take the situation out of the game.

Agreed. She would probably "suggest a drink or a walk after the game" or something to change the context. If someone is flirty during the game, then my default is treating it as a way to gain information such as poker tells etc.
I don't know if joking or not, but sadly, I've heard that some men actually do this intentionally to make the women players feel uncomfortable and distract them from the poker game. I guess people will try just about any trick in the book to win.
It was Phil Hellmuth (in the book Reap em & Reap with Joe Navarro I think it was) who used this as evidence to reason why so many women poker players are so successful. Men engage in silly mind games with another trying to out "macho" everyone else, but women simply focus on the ongoing game and that focus makes women perform better in this area of the game.
