My big defeat is when I go bluffing and lose everything. Unfortunately, poker is all or nothing, there's no point in playing carefully, you have to take the risk of winning or losing everything.

I lost $1600 in a few hours one night while on TILT. I learned my lesson though. When I feel it coming on or see my play getting looser and looser, I convince myself to go back to core basics using my starting hand chart and playing a tighter straightforward game until things are smooth out.

$520 after reentering a live $250 bounty tournament. The extra $20 was for the two dealer addons, for which you get additional chips and the money goes to the tip pool for the dealers.

Chopped top 5 in a tournament, £60 buy, split to around £1500 each, felt achived so jumped on the cash games with maximum buy in and started to get a few beers in (i dont like to drink when i play)

Low and behold, £1000 down, i rebuy for £300, lose that in a JJs vs KKs then lost the extra 200 on roulette.

I didnt play for 5months.

Was down £800 playing 0.5/1 at my local casino, probably my worse run live. One of those days when you do the right things, but the poker gods was having non of it.
Online. I tilted off a $600 bankroll in 3 hours. Only a few years after I started playing, it was a harsh lesson. Never to play stakes above your means.

Always when I lose a lot of money in gambling it's not only poker ,it's poker and casino or casino only . Yeah , casino slots are to blame for most of my big losses in online gambling . So I have restricted myself from casino slots nowadays . I will play carefully only . I have lost $100 , $300 , some other amounts other times , biggest loss the $3.200 (on slots) . From 3.200$ to $0 in just few moments lol

The maximum was 200 dollars entering and re-entering a tournament that was out of my bankroll, as advice I can say even if it doesn't come in relation to this post, never play outside of your bankroll range
