I think chess is harder than poker, because in chess lucky is not part of the game!

Poker is partially that but it is much more about managing your risk according the situation at hand. In that sense it is much more like managing an investment portfolio.
Depending on the hand (market) you fold (sell your losing stocks), stay in (maintain your portfolio), call or bet a little (buy investments that look good with great potential, but have not gone up too much yet), or bet big or go all in (buy Tesla and pray).
