It wasn't the best but I finished 16th in a Heartland poker tournament out of over 750 entrants, only 4k+ payday. They redid the pay a in another tournament and got my best payday of $6,667 finishing 24th. My best moment is yet to come.

There is 3 my beginner-level best moments:
1) Get Royal flush on the flop)
2) First small prize - winning $0.25 from freeroll.
3) Get Quads on the river, same time when opponent gets full house)

Whats your Best Poker Moment

My best moment was when the whole table went all in, I had two queens and win. It was for real money, I was able to practice with it.

Always the live tournaments I have won, beating a WPT player in JoBurg SA right after leaving the hospital. But most important was making to the CC Free-Roll club.

When the AA and KK pairs start to win at the weekend, because this week they fall for me and they don't win.:stoned:

Hi Friend.

I'm relatively new to this and my best moment was second place in the $ 100 Freeroll and ninth place in the 300 Freeroll, I hope to win a Freeroll in the future.

When I had a straight flush draw on the turn and on the river, it hit. I was in 7th heaven with happiness. But when they pass you, it's hard to accept and transfer. Modern I think I can handle it

This thread makes me realize how little I remember of all the live poker I've played in my life.

Only a few moments stick out... getting it in with AQ vs a made hand and being <10% to win... then runner runner-ing the win. Was my last $100 at a 1/2 game and it saved my night.

That and getting 2nd in one of those hyper daily tournaments. I was very excited at the time even though I won only like 700.

I remember winning a satellite to a big tournament with only 30 cents of a dollar.
I was happy all week because the competition was tough and there were only 5 places.

Playing in a weekly League game at my local pub, I earned the right to play in a Regional Final in a Manchester Casino (100 miles away) with 2 other players, I mentioned to one of the organizer's that I would be happy just to make the Final table and when she asked why only the Final Table, why not 1st place I told her that the Final table would be enough for me and to win it would be fantastic, but I would still be happy with a top place.
I managed it and actually made 2nd place winning £200 and a Seat in the National Finals, The National game was played around 3 months later and I had to travel to Coventry (about 200 miles away) and I played in The Final of several hundred players and made it to the last 5 tables, just short of the bubble but since then I have played in a few other Tournaments, some going home after busting before the bubble, others I have made the money.
The important thing for me was that Manchester was the First time I got to a Final table in any tournament, and I proved to myself that if I could do it there, I could do it again elsewhere, it just takes a lot of hard work and concentration.
I prefer to play Live games, but I also prefer playing at lower stakes, £25-£50 maximum buy-ins, but On-line I stick to a bankroll rule of nothing above 1%, not because I am afraid of anything, other than things that are out of my control, (ie) Internet connection or power failures and computer crashes.
I hate losing $1 Dollar playing on-line, when some thing like that happens, and it has on several occasions, but I accept that it happens and get over it, after all it is money I have never owned or paid into a poker site, but losing £25-£50 On-line would devastate my Bankroll and I would have to either win it all back or replace it with money I can not afford to lose through technical issues.
Poker should be a fun past time, and for me I have found the perfect balance, of having fun without it costing me a small fortune, and I am happy playing for free.

When the fun Stops, STOP!

I can tell you my worst moment - learning the bloody game.

I suppose my most impressive performance was winning a $200 freeroll on The Gaming Club. Obviously only a small win but there were 1725 or 1775 runners.

Playing in the wsop seniors event at the Rio in 2018. Just to be there and play in the room I had only seen on tv was an amazing experience.

There were many good and bad moments. One of the best is winning a tournament with a 9k + field. If I find a picture I will post it

I guess my biggest win was around 450$ online in a freeroll . I have won several hundred in CC tournaments, mostly last year. This year I am slacking off poker. I will probably take it up again more seriously this winter while hibernating.

When I made a Royal Flush playing in a cash game at the Casino. I won the jackpot for that in the suit of spades for about $1700 in that hand. I still can't believe that it happen to me. I flopped the straight flush 9 to king and the turn was the Ace of spades for the Royal flush. It was awesome there action after the checked called the flop and turn. I made a small bet on the river and was called winning a good size pot as well. It was at Grand Casino in Hinkley, MN. They don't even have a poker room there any more. It was closed down to make room for more slot machines and high limit table games.

The best moments for me are playing at the final table, especially if the prize pool is good.:bandit:
