A winning Hand any pocket pair above 7's are sweet... then it would be suited cards able to make a straight or within 5 cards of each other.

The comment by ERICBR30 directly above is probably one of the best of any here. Every hand is flop dependent and position and flop gives any 2 cards differing values. So to say that AA or 44 or 72 or any other 2 cards is your favorite is suspect. For about 6 months straight I had more wins with 83 suited or unsuited than any other combination of cards. Call it Karma or call it pure luck (can someone quantify the difference for me?), 83 was my "Karma Hand". That was then, years and years ago, but nowadays I throw it away without a second thought. So what is my favorite hand? It just depends on the situation. I guess I can be certain that my "favorite hand" is the one that hits the flop, and even then it just depends on the situation.

Sure AA is good but, 55 is my favorite hand. It all goes back to a game at the CNE (Toronto) where I won a huge pot when 522 came up on the flop and I had 3 callers going all the way (2 had flush draws and another had QQ) They got their flushes but it wasn't enough. Now, I always play 55, it's the new AA.

I've had many fav's over the past yr or two.. and they always change as they sometimes have me win big.. or lose big.
I've gone from AJ .. to 75suited Q10clubs.. right now i'm on 7c8c..
