When it comes to the family separation side of things and ruining your social life and being away from your loved ones…. Unless you are a professional poker player/gambler you should have all the time in the world for family friends and loved ones! And they should always come first!!! As you ARE NOT A PROFESSIONAL!!  treat poker like any other hobby or pastime such as football or snooker or whatever it is that you like to do!

If you find yourself not being able to cope without poker and abandoning your loved ones your friends and family and have no social life then I’m afraid to say it’s a GAMBLING ADDICTION! Plain and simple… and what I personally would recommend is contacting a local support group in your area and getting help, or maybe the first step would be speaking to your family or friends, it’s nothing to be ashamed of as roughly 7% of the world suffer with gambling related addiction my friend but when you put that into perspective THATS ALOT!
