So I spent years getting excited, trying to understand it in depth, and looking for reasons why poker was relevant in my life. I discovered that it was just the money. Poker is stupid and nothing special, as I had realized from the beginning, a damn habit of not following my intuition.

Intuition doesn't exist in a measurable way. It is just a "gut feeling" based on flip second thaughts, hopes and hormones (often wrong).
So it cannot help you in an action where calculation and rigourosity is key.

Poker to me is like investments, you are always seeking positive ROI situations and just like in investing you dont always win.

All you can do is continue to work on your game, learn from your experiences, and try to improve every day.

I kind of wondered that too Val, BUTTTT <3 and I like big buts

Poker becomes a lot more than a card game when you immerse yourself. I find it is the greatest game because everyone has their own take on how to win, and the same hand can be played many different ways. Then you add CC to the mix and it gets even more incredible.

I'm not criticizing poker, maybe it's a mistranslated term that may have been a bit inappropriate. What I mean is that we should never place results or motivations on the activities themselves, but rather on the right reasons that support any activity. Poker is what it is.

Seems like you’re the one who is overwhelmed by poker. Nothing in your silly 😜 OP is lost in translation. It’s crystal clear that you see poker as a game for idiots. This however says more about you as a troll 🧌 than the world’s leading cardgame, which is poker.

I felt the same way at first—poker looks simple, but once you dive in, the depth and strategy blow your mind. It’s what keeps the game fascinating.
