As a poker fan, I've developed a love for the game and want to know where you guys think poker will be in five years. Will the poker community be exactly the same, withstand another poker boom, or slowly decline?

I think on-line poker will slowly decline due to changes to tournaments by the sites. It has already started on PokerStars where they have increased the first level of the blinds.

online poker in USA should be on the rise with different states legislation. Poker as a whole should see a small steady rise as well. Don't see another Poker boom in the future,

It may look a bit ominous atm, but as long as there are players, there will be poker. Its because of this that poker will always come back to life intermittently. Its like a wave, catching different punters each time it comes back around. Some players stay, but the original cast will always be there.

Poker has seen enormous growth between 2002 and 2010 and i think its now on a plateau. But I do see pokerstars allowing US players into their site within 5 years, giving another boost to online poker, and in turn live poker.

In my opinion poker will grow a lot and it will be considered a mind sport after all . All this gamgling sh*t will go away and people will recognize poker a strategy game. In 5 years or less US player will be allowed on online poker roms .

It will be only worse. Online poker is a pure scam. They never developed rng and they do not bother to do so. I only hope there will be decline in poker population so maybe but maybe they will start a new proper thing.
