Who invited you to play poker for the first time and how did you start?

It was Daniel Negrean who drew me to poker. I love his playing style. Between 2007 and 2010 there was a high stakes poker tournament on e2 CNBC-e and I would watch like crazy at night.

Yes, I remember those golden days for poker, I'm afraid this will never happen again. Poker stars did a lot to popularize poker at that time, as much as I watched live broadcasts.

My boss invited me, I worked at an alcohol plant, and on the weekend when I was at work my coordinator who was also my friend called me and invited me to his house after I got off work and so on. I did.

I started watching Pokerstars tournaments on TV and I was impressed how a player doesn't only depend on the cards they have in their hands to win, but must also know how to read the other players at the table, because even with marginal cards you can win if you have a good reading who is at the table.

Poker is a mix of luck and strategy, and that caught my attention, so I started playing about 4 years ago, recreationally to get to know the game, and about 1 year ago I started to study to do well in games and that I enter.

When I was a student, my friends and I often played poker live, it was not like classic poker, more like gatherings with humor and beer. I didn't think about online poker until I saw the 2010 wsop series, then I started watching the world series of other years and was finally ripe for online. My first room was pokerstars, and I lost my first deposit of $20 in 3 days.

I started playing myself. When mobile games appeared. I played with play money chips, learned the combinations myself, only played the map, because the opponents were computer ones. Then I started watching poker championships. I remember how poker broadcasts were held on Tuesdays (European series of poker, VSOP). And then I got acquainted with online poker rooms.

Watching Daniel Negreanu on Canadian TV. In this poker game a password was given that you could enter in a Freeroll on PokerStars and win real money. I think it was every Saturday night.

I first learned to play live poker maybe in 2006 or 2007, I used to go to the casino 1 or 2 times a month with friends, then in 2012 the government banned casinos in my country, so I had no choice but to play online.
