I also like Doyle Brunson. (I believe he's retired, now.)

He's got great stories to tell from the past, and some of the backroom games that he used to play.

Seems, that he got upset, when many of the poker rooms got more interested in taking everybody's money, than they were at providing a good place to play.

He quit, just after he sold "Doyle's Room".

Really miss him, but there's lots of videos to watch.

At last year's wsop (2019) we visited the featured room on Day 2 and sat down in the bleachers.

For whatever reason he waved at my wife. Must be mental connection Canadian to Canadian. My wife was totally perplexed and looked behind her if he potentially ment somebody else. Nobody behind her..
