Doyle Brunson for me played while he was young till today and never put his family in jeopardy always has been respected in cash games, he's a true pro.. My poker idols are Daniel Negreanu and Vanessa Selbst (considered the best poker player in the world, jumped to fame in 2006 when she was only 22.) If the goal of the game is to make money, Vanessa takes the cake: it's the Poker player with more earnings - more than 5 million dollars.
