I respect your opinion. But in the technical point of view, Akkari is not even close to be the best poker player in Brazil today. We have Yuri Martins, Murilo Figueiredo, Decano, João Simão, João Mathias, Rafael Moraes, Thiago Crema, Bernardo Dias... a lot of great players.

But Akkari have a great marketing approach and the partnership with PokerStars.

The best play in my country is Thai Ha. His profit is over millions of dollars. But I heard that he used his money to invest in other businesses more than focusing on playing poker now.

In Venezuela I consider Dorian Rios as the best in our country. Both live and online, he has won more tournaments than any other player and is the only Venezuelan to win a pike in an EPT side event, in addition to second place in a wsop tournament.

Alexandre Gomes is the most profitable player ever had in Brazil, but If I think about in how the game were play I prefer Andre Akkari.

I'm in the UK, I guess it depends on what you look at as the 'best' in terms of live tournament earnings then you have Stephen Chidwick and Sam Trickett at the top, I personally prefer to watch Sam over Stephen but would say Stephen is the better player overall.

However my favourite UK player to watch was Dave 'Devilfish' Ulliott (RIP). Devilfish was a great player but even better character at the table to watch as a spectator.
