I’ve been playing poker for a while now, and honestly, I think the biggest attraction is that every session feels different.

Sometimes you win with a great hand, sometimes you lose with the better hand, and sometimes one decision stays in your head for days. For me, it’s the mix of skill, psychology, patience and a little luck that keeps bringing me back.

What keeps you coming back to poker?
 
For me, what keeps me coming back to poker is the feeling that there is always something more to learn. Even after a good session, I can think about certain hands afterward and wonder if I could have played them differently. That constant process of analyzing, learning and trying to improve is a big part of what makes poker interesting to me.

I also like the fact that poker isn't simply about getting good cards. You have to make decisions with incomplete information, understand your opponents, manage your emotions and know when to be patient. Sometimes you can play a hand perfectly and still lose, while another time you can make a mistake and get lucky. That unpredictability makes every session different.

For me, poker is not just about winning money. It's the challenge of trying to make better decisions than I did yesterday. As long as I feel that I'm learning and improving, I'll probably keep coming back to the tables

I’m not walking away from poker. I’ve been involved with it continuously for over twenty years. The game still fascinates me—both the winning hands and the losing ones that teach you lessons. I love the thrill of seeing that you’re close to a win. The shifting dynamics at the table are incredible, too—like when you seem to be in a hopeless position but manage to come out on top, or when victory is within reach and you lose in an unbelievable way. I’ve dealt with situations like that constantly, and that’s what makes poker so great.
 
The game is fascinating because different things always happen, it doesn't let you stand still in time, it makes you seek learning, study the game, the people, it helps you to improve psychologically, it's too great
 
I love poker because it is a mind sport that improves our network with people, so this is a lot of benefits for us!
 
Certainly monetary aspect also Its just derivatives of mathematics statistics propability and its dynamic aspect is reflection of mundane life
 
Personally, I love it because every time, I learn when, and why, I must withdraw my cards, I am not yet at one hundred, but I am still struggling, curiosity is what has been defeating me, thank you, for the question.
 
I think we love poker because it reflects life in a strange way. You can make the right decision and still lose, just like in life. You cannot control every card, but you can control how you play it. Over time, poker teaches us that success isn't about winning every hand. It's about making good decisions, staying calm through uncertainty, and having the patience to keep playing when things don't go our way. Maybe that's what makes poker meaningful. We don't play because we can control the game, but because we learn to control ourselves.
 
I like poker because it lets me take my mind off all my real-life problems. Poker helps me get the thrills I need. It also makes some money for me, so it's the perfect game for me. 🙂

i dont agree with your, "a little luck" part , its 90% of luck all the time (like rest of gambling games casino slots bj roulette etc.)

the only diffrens between poker and the other games is, you can slow down your losses , and maybe make good run and win very big money alsoo ..

i gamble for about 25 years now ...
my biggest score with poker in 1 session or 1 day was evver about 3/4 K
and my biggest score with casino other games in 1 day/session was with 100euro i made once 22 K

so what i try to tell you need luck a lot of the time to hit that luck streak ,
it can happen on casino games and or it can happen in a pokker session if you can handle the bankrol well...
