hi...a lot of people play poker.and they play for different reasons.Someone plays to relax, to reset the adrenaline, someone from the habit, many play to have fun.A certain part plays to make money.What category do you belong to??

Playing Poker

Lots of reasons I play poker as every hand is a new game. I am retired now so poker fills a void in my life with the extra time I now have. Love playing with friends and as well every couple months head up to the casino's for some live action games.

Poker keeps ones mind sharp as mentioned before every hand presents new options and chances to rake in a big pot.

I play to win and for the rush of winning a big hand . I don't do it too often, but the deeper I go in a tournament the bigger the rush from winning a big hand is. I love that feeling. The downside is the lows of lossing what might have been a big hand. Anyways, I love the game and will always play, win or loose.

I started playing poker to have a good time and to socialize. But after I got hurt and lost my job I started putting in the time studying and playing to where it's now my sole source of income. So poker like everything in life can evolve in how it plays a part in your life.

I've always been really into numbers, statistics, and card games. Poker is a great combination and since I learned to play years ago it has became, by far, my favorite card game. There are so many elements to playing good poker.

I always played poker to make money from the very beginning. This was once I realized that it was a skill game and I would win in the long run if I outplayed my opponents.

Because to be honest, while I do enjoy the strategy and theory behind poker a lot, if I wanted pure mental stimulation, I would actually play chess more often which I feel is a deeper and more complex game. And if I wanted to just relax and unwind, then honestly I enjoy video games more.

So while I guess I do play poker for "fun/strategy" I would be lying if I didn't admit that the profit/money factor is the biggest draw for me. This game has changed my entire life, nuff said
