I started playing poker because I enjoy the challenge of competition that it provides, an opportunity to improve a skill and the enjoyment of getting to know people and better understand their psyche. The psychology of poker and the poker player's psyche is a strong motivation for my playing poker.
I was especially motivated and inspired to play poker 'on-line' as a result of Chris Moneymaker and his winning the WSOP. Forum wise, I started with Railbirds.com and later with the very best poker forum on the internet, Cardschat.com. I enjoy the significant diversity, styles of play and the individual strategies of poker players from the many different countries that are members of Cardschat. This is one of the many things I like about our Cardschat League, the diversity of getting to know poker players from a multitude of countries. Additionally, I really enjoy playing poker for cash winnings, but since Black Friday and my being a citizen of the USA, there are very few ways to actually do this. Our CC League provides one such opportunity by playing as a team member and winning a little prize money. I am normally the League Captain of Team Bull. Question: are there any other ways on Cardschat (I know there has to be) for USA players to actually play/earn dollars? At one time CC had freerolls on ACR etc where this could be done, but no longer. There isn't any cash prize for winning a freeroll on Replay Poker, as I understand. Any suggestions are appreciated.
