Good afternoon in my case I play poker to exercise my reasoning and also because if I win balgo it is because in the period my reasoning goes well but if I have not won anything then I need to rest to think better but in general it is to keep my reasoning with catching up.

I agree with all three.
For me I would also add that it can be a diversion. You get to get out and enjoy all that it involves, going to the casino or searching on line poker site.

Competition

I enjoy the competitiveness of poker. Growing up being very competitive in sports now that I’m getting older poker gives me an outlet for my competitiveness. Poker will have you run the gamut of emotions. From excitement over the cards to come to absolute misery when you take a bad beat!! You will experience them all in poker. That’s what keeps bringing people to the game. Not to many ‘sports’ that the average individual can play against the very best in the world. Poker can give everyone that opportunity. And you can make some lasting friendships through the people you meet playing poker. And, if you’re lucky, you just might make a few dollars along the way!! What more could you ask for?? The knowledge base that Cardschat and other poker forums put at your fingertips can/will make a person’s poker game formidable. There is always something to improve in your poker game. You should always be learning/growing your poker skills. That’s why I play!! Texas Holdem takes a minute to learn and you can spend a lifetime trying to master it!!

I just like the game. In lots of other games, a skill gap is immediately obvious, but in poker, it takes a while to notice that someone is better than you, which allows people to make worse decisions for longer than in chess for example.

I play to learn the game more. Also for fun, years ago I wanted to be a pro. There are more things to life, then hours of poker. If a chance came up to play , in a big live tournament in the future I'll take a chance in playing, but in no rush for now.
