Why I haven't posted in quite awhile

I think I haven't posted anything since last year.

The reason is; that I posted several questions that were pertinant to me and they were not answered. I was looking for help or some information which I did not fully get. If I'm going to take the time to attempt to engage in conversation, by asking questions, I think it's reasonable to expect some answers to the questions posted. This approach, I believe, leads to further conversation and even frienships developing. But to blow some one off with just partial or quick answers; I feel is just dismissing some one as not worthy to engage with.

Well, I think this happens to a lot of people. I myself have had a few posts where I did not get a response at all. I would have to say just try to post in the appropriate section and with a very precise title. This way people will know whether it is a post they may be interested in or not. Don't let it discourage you, the people here are great and will help you out if they can. Sometimes people will find the answers to questions asked to be self-evident. If this happens you will get these quick answers you speak of. Some people seem to be grammar ans spelling nits too so make sure your posts are easy to read and understand if you are asking for something. Anyways hope this helps and maybe you'll stick around for a bit and give CC another shot.

I just looked back at your threads and I've got to say your full of it. You've started 2 threads (your intro and a question about the basics of forum use) both of which were answered fully and politely. Your only other post was very similar to this after you got an automated email because you hadn't logged onto CC for some time. My guess is that this post is in response to another automated message. I'd also guess that your next post here will be in 6 months and will basically be the same as this one.

What a joke. You didn't even make it past introductory phase and members couldn't be more welcoming or helpful. I'll keep this short to dismiss/offend you. Feel free to mention my rude response next year (as if he stuck around to read these)
