I think Texas Hold ‘Em is the most popular for a few main reasons: that the rules are imo easier to grasp than any other poker variant, that dealing the game is very easy, and that the ability to go all-In greatly helps the drama and mass appeal of the game.

NLHE will always be my main game, but I also love Omaha and 5 card draw

Second is Ohama for me, Poker is number one for the same reason soccer is in sports. It is easy to learn, no real skill required to start and only a ball/deck of cards with one apponent to have fun. Both take a lot of skill to master and have great potential to be profitable.

Texas Holdem is quick and easy to understand, so that's why it is the most popular. My favorite game is Omaha 8

Texas Hold ‘Em poker is the first game of poker you learn.
so over 90 % prefer playing it. as its a much easyier game to learn and not so many rules like other games.

I think it is simple to pick up, but offers a good deal of complexity to master. The simplicity is what draws people in and the complexity is what keeps people interested.

undoubtedly omaha Hi / lo, it is less thrilling and more frustrating since it is a post flop game since the nuts on the flop may be the worst hand on the turn, it serves more to control the variance

NLHE is the most popular game because its easy to understand to some extent.
I would chose PLO for my second options.
For some reason i don't really find the other games appealing.

I play in Holdem, but I also like Omaha. I would love to learn to play 5 Card Draw, although I know the rules, I still do not dare to play with real money in this last modality.
And someday I hope to combine these modalities and play them all at the same time. (It would be a great challenge for me).

i think its the most popular because it puts it in the balance of losing every penny or winning it all... its a true gamble to the fullest no matter what anyone says

alot of people wont play it in no limit format because of this .. just a little of what i know
