Why are opponents super unfriendly in Online games?

Why should opponents online even have to be friendly at anytime? There are specific reasons why there is a ignore button or do not answer is always an option! If you're already complaining on how people respond back to you at tables then don't even say anything to begin with cause you will not last at the tables! Just a suggestion because everybody is working hard for there money and not just sitting around high fiving you! lol

The online poker is full of unfriendly and disrespectful people, and I don't know why. Most of them aren't pro players to take this so serious.

No one said that opponents have to be friendly, and no one is complaining about it. euro fish simply asked a question, and others have chimed in with their observations. And, I don't think anyone would ask for high fives and moral support at the tables. Poker is a competitive game. Though I doubt that anyone expects all players to behave cordially at the tables, it is a wonder why so many players conduct themselves in such unsportsmanlike ways.

I think there is enough pleasant people in online poker. Players have different emotions and often this emotions can be unfriendly. But if you'll be a "good guy" yourself, most part of people will be good with you.

Saw this today.

Table folds to MP who was short and bets 3bb. I fold, button raised to 9bb, blinds fold and MP shoves then button calls.

MP has A9s
Button has A8o

I can't remember all the cards but MP ended up with a pair of 9 and button tells him to FU! And starts berating him and asking him why he shoved?

I felt like asking why the hell did you call?

What a maroon! Lol

I wish I could know why they act like that. I think they are bad losers players that want release the stress of losing in the others for no reason at all.

Probably just because they're angry about losing. It's easier to make conflict when you're hidden behind a screen.
