I think having some bad beats is part of the variance but when there are too many in one day it becomes stressful.

Now that is something I just don't get at all. There is no benefit at all in getting angry....in fact quite the opposite. Anger is such a negative emotion...it will have you on monster-tilt in no time at all, which can end up being really expensive!!!!
It is so much better to take a deep breath, relax, and think about the hand....like, did I do anything wrong? What could I have done better? You cannot think clearly like that in a fit of anger, so you end up repeating the mistakes and getting more angry and losing more money and so on. KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON !!!
Yeah, take a break. Calm down. Get collected. However long it takes: an hour, a day, a week, a month, a year. Sometimes you just have to get some distance.gon4iypes said:It makes me kind of sad when I read posts by people who say how angry they get when they lose. On the other hand, if the fishes are not going to get mad, how can I get them to call my pocket aces?gon4iypes said:It makes me kind of sad when I read posts by people who say how angry they get when they lose. So true! You can usually tell when some players are pissed off enough to call any bet with any hand. If you happen to have pocket Aces when that happens then you just have to take advantage of the moment.john_entony said:On the other hand, if the fishes are not going to get mad, how can I get them to call my pocket aces? This is a strategy for many players to get a good balanced player out of the balance.

Anger can be incredibly counterproductive, especially in high-stakes or competitive situations. It's so important to approach losses as learning opportunities rather than letting them trigger negative emotions. By staying calm and reflective, you can analyze what went wrong, learn from it, and improve your strategy for next time.gon4iypes said:It makes me kind of sad when I read posts by people who say how angry they get when they lose. I agree. Anger rarely gets you anywhere, other than sometimes jail. Stroke and heart attack also come to mind.s0ftdumps said:Anger can be incredibly counterproductive, especially in high-stakes or competitive situations.
