I played it again today, still not a big fan of it. It's nice to try a different type of game but I didn't have any fun playing this. I used a few power ups, the only one that really helped me was discarding my cards for a new hand. Here is a screenshot of me using the "scanner" power up. Thanks for the giveaway.

Funny alternative poker for play money

Here is my screenshot, where i'm using a "Engineer" Power Up, which allowed me to pick up next card and make a straight

My 2 cents about the game: I did quite enjoyed it. It's well made graphics and it's fresh look at poker as video game, however i would probably never take it serious and play it for real money. I think this game has much more luck element in it, as in usual NLHE. But i can imagine to play it for play money from time to time to cool down from bad sessions or hard bad beats for example.

In the pic above I used Xray to see if my 44 were good, as you all know it's the nuts on NLHE

, but sadly not in power up.

These games are ok for a little fun away from the grind, the power ups are self explanitory, however I couldn't see myself spending too much time or money on them.

I gave it a shot:

Normally I would have chased to hit my draw, but the scanner showed me I would miss. It was fun, but not sure if I would play it often. It would be nice if I was the only player to have power ups in real games

I have played it again and I came up against someone who really knew how to use the power ups. It was late at night, so I got to play against them several times. There is a knack to it, I don't know that I would invest the time to get as good as this person. It was pretty interesting to see someone that was ruthlessly crushing it. I said I wouldn't likely play it again, but I did. I might play it more if I was not in the US.

I used the Engineer power up and choose the Qs as the turn card. my opponent the played the reload power up and took the Qs, good play by him, fortunately I hit a spade on the turn any way and bet twice and won the hand.
Power Up is a fun game mode that adds an extra layer of strategy to poker.

Frankly speaking, my try to play surpassed my expectation. I somehow thought that this is another gambling version of the casino but it became a quite interesting for me. The first thing that caught my eye, game requires a little more time than usual poker. I played twice, once I won and runner-up. In this game you need to play chillout and then it will bring enjoy. I will play again.

i already player power up few times, it had her own strategy to play, in this one i changed one of my cards with the reload cards power up, i just changer one cuz i had already a 10, lucky me i draw a K then i used my other power up to stop all players to use them, and i won the pot,

just about the design, its very robotic which doesn't give the game a good look, thats only my opinion.

Power Up looks like from space! Your power card's can make your opponent angry and burn his hand! When I played this game I feeling like in on planet Mars and my enemies look like aliens!

Power Up Card's for example can:
*eliminate some card's from table
*x-ray one of card your opponent
*Switch one from your card (you get 3 card's and must remove one. You choose which card)

So there are multiple chances to change course of the game! But remember - no one is immortal!

I used disintegrate card and throw away Ace from table! My Opponent raise at preflop I call and block his chance to beat me! ^^

Something new is always fun to play. Pretty good idea from pokerstars

Used "reconnaissance" for to see next card in a board аnd I saw that I would have a straight draw and a high pair. This helped me decide my bet

On the turn us "x-ray" that see 1 of 2 cards my opponents and after this go all - his folded

My opponent scanned the next 2 cards and folded to my bet. I don't like the game. It might be better if I played it and became more familiar with the cards, but it was rather confusing the 1st couple of times.
