Also, I play quite a bit of live poker, I've never been intimidated yet, insulted, maybe, intimadated no .

Same thing here by the way.

My wife do play poker pretty well too. Well i helped it a little bit, gave her a little poker coaching in the past. I did explained her about poker math and gave some tips for different situations and glad to see it helped a lot to improve her game!

Yesterday I tried live poker at the local casino for the first time. Around 40 players, no women. Guess poker it's not so popular with women here.

Why do you think that is? Granted when I go to play poker there are fewer women but there is always at least one at the table.

There are lots of female players on CC. It doesn't seem to matter much about gender online, but in live games, men tend to think you don't know what you are doing, which can be a huge advantage for a skilled female. No, it does not intimidate me to play against men.
