Hi :)
It depends on who is more patient, disciplined, persistent and experienced.

I think player's gender is totally irrelevant! Skill has to do with other factors IMO.

I'll probably vote for men, because I think they're better at poker.

I believe men, because we are more rational, women are more passionate, that not bad, but is what I think.

I still think men tend to be stronger players overall when it comes to poker achievements.
If I’m not mistaken, no woman has ever won the wsop Main Event in its entire history.
That said, there are definitely some sharks among women — like Vanessa Selbst.
I’ve always liked her playing style — very aggressive, not afraid to bluff, and she’s won multiple WSOP bracelets too.

Poker has nothing to do with gender, it's all about skill.

Depends on the player, cannot generalise that way. Both terrific male and female players.

Often in poker you have to be aggressive.Women by their human nature are more dire and in most of them have certain reservations, dubes, nellinists who cause in the rough game of other poker players. It would be one of the explanations for why their percentage of win is lower than in men.

I think it all depends on the individual level of the player. But it is harder for me to play against women. Their intuition helps them recognize when I'm bluffing. So I'm always much happier when I can get chips against women. But I respect all women who want to succeed in poker. :sneaky:

I think it all depends on who is more skilled. If we take 10 men who play poker and 10 women who play poker, who do you think will be more skillful?
This is the answer to your question :)

You can't say that one gender is better than the other, what really matters is the talent and dedication of each person!

These days i dont think it comes down to Gender as i could easily pick 5 top female players to go head to head against their counterparts - its a much more level playing field, statistically, history tells us that more men play the game first up so often people based their views on that but you only have to look at CC over the past 10 years to see changes too - we have female players here who are every bit as good and in some cases better in certain areas of the game.
If you base it purely on results then males win but we are talking here about "better", if better means who wins the most then yes - its male dominated.

I have watched a great deal of poker in my lifetime and can definitely see a shift now, its competitive more than many believe.

If the only guy that entered the women's only event didn't win it. I'd agree with you. The best poker teachers I've found were all men. But they smell bad if that means anything to the gals

Skill in poker doesn’t depend on gender but on experience, mindset, and study. Both women and men can excel equally at the game. Historically, men have dominated the scene due to more participation, but many top female players prove skill is universal. Success in poker comes from discipline, strategy, emotional control, and continuous learning—qualities not limited by gender. So, neither women nor men are inherently better; it’s all about individual dedication and skill development.

I don't think there's even a difference between men and women.
