Worst Bad Beat in Poker History

Hardly the worst beat in poker.

Although it was crushing to Affleck and hard to watch his reaction because he was so close and so much was on the line.

I would consider quad aces losing to a royal flush early in the main event (might have been the same one) a much bigger beat.

It happens. Just sucks really bad that it happened so deep into the Main Event. Stuff like that can be so devastating mentally.

Coincidentally, I got my stack in with AA against JJ preflop in a cash game last night and lost to quad Jacks.

What nobody has mentioned was that given how the hand was played....if that happened to you..
You would react similar...

IMO the only thing.affleck did wrong was not shove the flop...

The video is classic...watched it three times in a row

not the worst beat. shitty for sure but he tried to trap pre flop. sometimes thats what you get.he shoulda of re shoved not smooth called. we all do it but late in tourneys i dont smooth call and chance it . called getting greety

well, I think the Aces badbeat is the worse, because of the importance of that pot, it could have made the difference between 500k and 8 million. This is the worst badbeat , I think, not by the hand itself, but for the situation

Considering the situation, that beat is probably worse just because he was so close to the very end. But maybe he should've played the hand differently, like shoving on the flop.

It just happens. He played the hand well but lost it anyway. I don't like Duhamels' play much but he was rewarded for it, so what?

This deep in the biggest poker tourney in the world it's very cruel and frustrating bad beat of course. I wouldn't entitle it as the worst bad beat in poker history though. Duhamel has got around 20% whole hand.

lol for the first video I seen that many times just soooooo horrible, second couldn't stop laughing at his face reaction, lol his stupid speach play got the guy to call. he had any 3 4 or q to win the hand.

Affleck vs. Duhamel hand....I see this and worse online every day. Somebody shoves AA, somebody else calls with garbage and flops the nuts.

This has to be much harder to take though, to be that close with a decent stack and a strong chance to get enough chips together to virtually guarantee the FT, and have it all wash away on the river.

If Gill hadn't been running his mouth and acting like the king of the poker world, he wouldn't have become the laughingstock of the poker world.
