Would You Buy Play Chips?

Play chips are great when you first start playing , but not to buy . If your are going to make a monetary investment on chips than why not start a bankroll ?

That is what I was going to say. lol I have sold more than a few million on Stars. I saw where they are having a huge sale on them now. 4.99 for a million and they give you another million the next day.
I tried playing with play chips on Stars a few years ago and I am sure I couldn't because they knew you could sell them. I played on there a couple of weeks ago.
The thing I like about play chips is that in the big buy ins, the play is really good, not a bunch of all inners.

I wouldn't buy them, not when we get 12,500 for free every so often. I find I have more luck when using play chips, and I do like to use them in the online casino too

If you want to give up gambling with real money but enjoy the process of gambling in itself especially the social aspect of high stakes play money poker where the community is quite tight-knit, then sure go ahead and buy it!

As for training, I believe that training should be that if you can't grind your way out of play-chip poverty then you would be wasting the cash in the first place.

Absolutely not!! Why spend $200 on play chips when you could just deposit it get whatever deposit promo is going on and start playing either tournaments or cash games and build your bankroll. I'ma you can still look at it like practice if you want... I mean that is the whole purpose of play chips isn't it??

i was playing on Zynga before some years ,back then i was thinking to buy chips but i never did ,so i guess beginners who don't play real money might need that.

I use play chips for home games, mainly CardsChat League and Monthly Events, the minimum buy in these days is 20k play chips, you can get 12,500 play chips every four hours, I top them up as often as I remember and have amassed over 4 million so far, have a feeling one day Stars will try to make us buy play chips.

We can use also the play money in cardschat events..home games and other purpose is to practice to develop your skills and familiarize the pokerstars playing system lol..

No I will not buy gaming chips, I'd rather continue to play for real money, when I'm playing for money in games and win money is profit in a bankroll, but from gaming chips there's no use!

Australia Bans Real Money

With Australia banning real money pokerstars, won't this open the play money market into a faux currency?

Will Pokerstars start buying back chips as an option to circumvent newly passed Australian law?

The whole banning of overseas based gambling companies is ridiculous, considering we have over 10 App based betting agencies..
